    They had a piece on CNN last night with another snowmobiler who also fell but was unhurt.
    May he rest in peace. Prayers for family and friends.

    I just read that. I don't know anything about that sport or Xgames, but that is truly tragic.

    ...and the truly sad part is, they'll just keep expecting bigger and more outlandish "tricks"....rationale being...."well, he WAS the first one to ever be killed!"...and that makes it OK???????.....

    You are correct and I see something really odd going on. There is a massive amount of focus on injuries and safety in some sports (football - boxing) while other sports (skateboarding, snowboarding, mixed martial arts) seem incredibly dangerous. I think the x-games are fun to watch but some of the things they do really make me cringe and worry for their health.
