Default Roger Ebert has died :(

I'm really sad about this. He was only 70. His writing was amazing; he was so much more than a film critic. There's no replacing him.

I trusted him as a movie critic more than anyone else.

Me too. There's just no one else who even comes close. I guess he went back in the hospital two days ago because the cancer recurred, but it sounds like he wasn't expected to die. So sad. His poor wife.

Yes, it was just reported last night on ET that his cancer had returned and that he was going back into the hospital! No mention about how bad it might be, so this is out-of-the-blue for me, too!

Wow. Just yesterday, I heard that his cancer came back. It sounded like he was making plans for the future.

    Very sad, indeed.

Well, at least he didn't linger on in a lot of pain before he passed away.

Really sad news. He fought such a good battle. Prayers go out to his family. He will be missed.

Yeah, this sucks. Ebert was good people. He co-wrote Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls. Great flick. The man knew his movies.
