The most recent movie I've seen in a theater was Taken. Liam Neeson was very good. Watching him, I thought, except for a certain lurching quality, in terms of physical action, he'd make the ideal James Bond.

Valkyrie Very good film. Not very action packed, but a very realistic portrail of true events surrounding the final assassination attempt on Adolph Hitler's life.

The torture scene near the end was really brutal.
I watched Platoon again last night. One of my all-time favorite movies. Last Friday night, I watched Punisher War Zone on DVD. I loved it. It was a brutal action movie, the way God intended.

Okay, I have to say it. I made my husband take me to see Race to Witch Mountain. made him, told him i'd pay promised any favours he wished. I loved the original Escape to Witch Mountain. LOVED the original and you know what, Race isn't too bad, either. John began to realize that I might be a fan of the original when I pointed out the 2 original stars AND the camper van that Eddie Albert drove in the original. The plotline was predictable, the child actors just this side of credible but I didn't care. I'm hoping to see Knowing, Monsters vs. Aliens, Last house on the Left, Earth, Star Trek, Up, and on and on.
