Hunter is the moderator of R. McCammon's web site. I bet he could get some answers for us.
He's a member here too so you could ask him on his page or got to this link.
I'd like to know too, inquiring minds and all.

Sorry, I haven't checked in for a while. The Five will be released as an ebook for Kindle, Nook, and others, but not for another couple of months or so (I don't have an exact timeframe for it). The following titles are the only ones legally available as ebooks at this time: Swan Song, The Queen of Bedlam, and Mister Slaughter. We'd love to see more ebooks, and there will be more in the future, but Pocket Books owns the rights to many of them, including Boy's Life and Speaks the Nightbird, and for whatever reason, they've chosen not to release those as ebooks yet.

As for audiobooks, we also hope to see some of those in the not-too-distant future. As soon as I have any news on either format, I'll post it here.

Yes, thank you very much, Hunter!

So have any of you read The Five yet? If so, what is its basic premise?

The Five is a novel about a rock'n'roll band on their last tour together.

    Oh, really? Thank you, Haunted!

You said you haven't read it yet, right?
The Five certainly sounds intriguing! Anyway, I'd read it just for McCammon's exquisite writng!
