Lots of good suggestions - can't forget Hey Nineteen by Steely Dan though.

    Hi,

I just hope T-Bone Burnett gets the job of putting it all together.

As he's apparently doing for Ghost Brothers of Darkland County.

Long days and pleasant nights (singing Steely Dan as we speak)

How about some actual, especially created score? I hope that, whenever (and if) the movies are made, either Christopher Young or Marco Beltrami get to do the music. Both are capable of writing for horror, otherworldly stuff, and can write beautiful, heartfelt melodies. I think those are a must for a project like this.

As for actual reading music, I can't concentrate on my book when music is playing. I can't even concentrate when the television is on. So I'd like to sit in my room and then I'm able to focus on a story properly.

Can't listen to music while I read, love music and reading too much and would have to give my focus on one or the other. Cool to see others who do though.

U2's Joshua Tree - the whole album just seems to 'fit' with the mood of the series...especially songs such as I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, Trip Through Your Wires, Mothers of the Disappeared, and Where the Streets Have No Name. Whenever I hear any of those songs (or any song from the album, really) it makes me want to re-read DT.
