I'm two-thirds through " Advent " by James Treadwell. It's fantasy is more mythic in flavour as opposed to the usual fare and it has some creepy moments as well. It's the first of a trilogy.
And I'm hoping my copy of NOS4A2 arrives today. It got a very favourable blurb in the NY Times!

The prologue alone is worth the price of admission.

I've just finished reading Skeleton Crew. I love The Reach at the end... how the reocurring "Do you love" throughout the book was tied up neatly at the end.

Just started Haunted Heart this am. The author besides writing uncomfortably intimately about Mr. King's life but she mentions talking with Mr. Bev Vincent and then being grilled by Marcia DeFillippo. This is making me decidedly uncomfortable; it is like she is talking about my family with no right to do so. Anyone else read this?

Just finished Black House, great book with light tie ins to the Dark Tower series. Started slow, but picked up speed and ran well.

    April Books Read:

    Zero

I've forgotten the face of my book-reading father.
