    Joyland. I had my reading list lined up, then pushed it aside on a whim to get this book. Fantastic book, loved the characters.

    Oops sorry, forgot to answer this. I had the choice of having Ransom River or waiting until The Shadow Tracer was nearly due to be released.

    In the TV Guide article, there was a warning that the ending in the series was changed because so many readers were disappointed with the ending in the book. The ending was changed with Mr. King's full assent.

    To this day, I will never understand, WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE ENDING!!
