I'm about 280 pages into Joe Hill's NOS4A2, loving every page of it and taking it s-l-o-w so I can relish it! (even tho I have a huge TBR pile of books staring at me, saying readmereadmereadme!

Just finished George Orwell's "1984"...a horror story if ever there was one! It happened to be in my pile of garage sale finds, so I went with it. I could not remember for the life of me whether or not I'd read it in H.S. (we're talking 40-plus yrs. ago), and even after finishing it yesterday I still am not sure. Obviously, if I did, it didn't make much of an impression on me then. Seems rather relevant these days, however. Wonder what Orwell would have thought of the internet???
I have "Double Feature" on my Kindle, and think I will hit it next. Then am making myself a promise (after looking through some of the recent posts this evening) to begin the Dark Tower series, and stick with it. Happy July 4th to all!

Just finished reading The Talisman. Really enjoyed it, although it started slow. Just starting Spy The Lie, non fiction written by 3 CIA polygraph folks that developed observation techniques for spotting lies. I've heard a few of these things before, but their take on it is interesting.
