I am reading a novel by Jack Drummond called "Storm". It is all about a major flood in the Pacific Northwest.

I'm a big, big fan of both Jonathan and Faye's works.

I read it years ago, twice, and I remember liking it so much that I want to read it again. Has anyone else read this one before?
EQ, is the audio of 'Salem's Lot scarier than the book? Do they leave anything out when they are reading? I'm thinking of the little factoid Mr. King slipped in about

Re-reading 'Before The Play' (the one published in Whispers magazine, not the one from TV Guide), the prologue to The Shining. Getting geared up for Doctor Sleep's release! Probably do a re-read of The Shining before then.

I finished The Returned, interesting premise, people at their best, and also not their best. The library is holding James Lee Burke's latest, Light of the World for me, because of holiday, can't pick it up 'till tomorrow. I think I will start on a short story or two in Everything's Eventual to hold me over.

I am just about to dive into a book called "The Summer Guest by Justin Cronin". I'll let you know if it lives up to his other two books. ( I am sure it will)
