Started reading The Road by Cormac McCarthy last night. It's so... visceral. Has anyone else read it to tell me what they think?

I finally opened Cujo..about halfway through it. Before that I re-read an old John Saul (The Blackstone Chronicles, I think is the titile. He gives a nod to SK for ther serial novel.) Before that Wind Through the Keyhole..after, of course, re-reading DTII-VII while waiting for it.

Currently I'm about 1/3 of the way through Duma Key (my first time reading it), and I'm planning on following that up with The Wind Through the Keyhole, which I just received for my birthday

I read Dekker's trilogy of Black, Red, White, and really enjoyed them. I saw a lot of what had to be King-inspired situations. Similarities to the Talisman and Black House mainly.
    Hi, Dsurrett-

Did you know there's actually four books in the series? The last one (or 1st, depending on the order you chose to read them) is called Green.
Do you find yourself struggling with UTD?

Oh yes, McCarthy's The Road is a truly incredibly work of art, as is any of his other work, IMO! Enjoy.

Dracula, the Undead by Dacre Stoker and Ian Holt. I wasn't expecting much from it, but I've been really enjoying it.
