I just finished The Dinner by Herman Koch. Fascinating story that goes in unexpected (and un-PC) directions.

It kinda scares me to see all the books coming out that contain what alot of people here are referring to as badly written. I haven't read either the 'Grey' or 'Twilight' series (and based on what most are saying here I never will) so I can't absolutely be sure about the quality of writing in either of those series, but I am going to go with the majority of voters and not read either one. Just scares me that this might be the first sign of the dumbing-down of America. I'm not slamming anyone out there who's read and enjoyed either of these series, so don't take it personally, please. Just stating an opinion.

Finished the book few weeks ago and you describe exactly the feelings I had when I started a new section. It does come around kinda sorta.

The wheel of time series, only on book two right now though. They can get a teensy bit cheesy sometimes but good fun all the same!

The Fall by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan, the second book in The Strain series.

The vampire virus is spreading at the point.

Finished Wind Through the Keyhole, which I thought was great, and now about halfway through The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Robert Heinlein.

I'm currently reading "Last Night in Twisted River." This is the first novel by John Irving where I haven't seen the movie first.
