ooohhhh...glue...especially that lemony stuff.................not that i know anything about that...nosireee

and i never read the huffington post, either....

but seriously...(there's that word again...sneaky, that one)...gulp...a bit of sad admission of semi-woe....

i had slightly battered copies of TLW, TRM and Roadwork...i traded them (w/a dealer whom i had a long standing business relationship) right after buying TBB in HB (day & date) for what was supposed to be a copy of Peter Straubs thin, special edition 'the generals wife'...which the dealer assured me he still had, somewhere...

when he could never track it down, and felt bad about that, he offered to make sure i got each of the new grant DT editions at cost when they finally arrived...(i also ended up with a grant edition of 'desperation' and the land of enchantment 'cycle of the werewolf')

never really thought much about all that, as i was more majorly into having HB's as opposed to pprbks, at that time

interestingly...a few years back, i refused to buy TGM in HB as i had done my due diligence and bought each edition of TGM as a pprbk chapbook the way it was meant to be...as they hit the stands...
