That really is a tough one. Love the DT series, but Wizard and Glass would be my favorite of those, closely followed by Drawing of the Three. Also love Eyes of the Dragon and Bag of Bones. The Stand is pretty awesome too. And the Long Walk. And Duma Key. Quitters, Inc. is one of my favorite shorts. Nope, can't do it. Can't pick just one.

I love The Stand for all the reasons already mentioned, but also because it was the first time I got so into a book I completly lost the real world for a while.

Doesn't seem to be a popular one but for me its dreamcatcher. Similar to IT its an extraordinary tale of friendship and i have never been so moved by the finale of a story.

IT, stand, under the dome and firestarter all make my shortlist too

IT is my all time favorite SK novel. I loved the nostalgia factor of the parts of the story set in 1958 and how SK can make that era seem to live and breathe. And I loved the story of friendship between the characters when they were kids. I don't think anyone writes about that pre-adolescent child character as well as King. IT is just a fantastic book all around, full of great characters and scares.

Easy, The Gunslinger. If the Gunslinger had not followed the Man in Black as he fled across the desert; I know not what would have become of my life.

I am going with The Dark Tower series, as a whole. In the world of literature there is just nothing like it. The DT series is a body of work that ties together an entire author's body of work. It's sci fi... horror... a love story.... fantasy...
