I bought this book for about $6 from Daedalus books. I love Stephen King and I figured, "Hey, $6 for a new hardcover, why not?" It sat on one of my bookshelves for a few months until last Sunday. I picked up the book and began to browse. Then I couldn't put it down. Everything became secondary. Fixing dinner, taking care of the family, getting ready for bed...all secondary because I had to get back to the book to find out what Wilfred Leland James was going to do with that fine mess he got himself into. I ended up staying up WAY past my bedtime finishing 1922 and was SO tired the next day, but it was worth it. Stephen King is one of the few authors (maybe the only) whose writing I CANNOT put down - even when common sense says, "The book will be there tomorrow. You can finish the story tomorrow..." At least I didn't start Big Driver until the next day at lunch....
