I think Ms. Mod said earlier on this MB that she does not like chocolate~

So, how 'bout a good bottle of hooch, Ms. M.?

    Dear Tiny,
You have some really great questions and good points in the threads here.
But the marquee has got to go. The quote is fine, but the crawl is annoying except in rare cases of relevance, like birthdays or announcing important matters.
You're a good guy but quit already with the marquee, 'kay?
    Love, Lily

Not much of a drinker and with the headaches I already get from the Hot Topics area, probably a good thing!

Being two of your earlier works, it is easy to see a correlation between Carrie White and Danny Torrance in that they both seem to develop or attract powers after suffering some form of abuse. The theme of abuse attracting or opening things of a "spiritual" nature is repeated in many of your novels, including the DT series, which seems to suggest perhaps these things have a common origin.

Will these themes of abuse followed by extraordinary abilities or the source of these abilities be discussed or explored in Dr. Sleep?

Could the various characters that share this thread be seen as expressions of the same soul, only in various dimensions (like the levels of the Tower or the threads of time in 11/22/63)?

Are these types of powers, especially those that include precognition, analogous to a "thinny" in the person's mind?

With a high possibility that Doctor Sleep will eventually be made into a movie, was any part of the novel written specifically for that prospect or with that in mind?

    Dear Stephen,

Why, oh why, for the love of Gan are you going to let Marsha

retire in a few years??? We need her here!!
Ok, that was for fun (not really, it hurts my heart). Seriously, my question is:

    1) Are you going to address the psychological issues inherent with seeing Danny's own father first try to kill him and his mother and then see his father die?
    2) Will Hallorann play an important part in this novel?

Yes, I know, that's two questions..........

    1) who or what are Abra's parents

2)Is Abra one of those people, who have had every one of their 'others' die; in all other universes.
(I think the word is "singleton" or something, Tyler Marshall maybe one of these.)

    3) Will there be Mafia in this story ?

    4) are the 'true knot' creatures a sub set of low'men or something new?

    5) Mrs. Torrence ran from her husband, up a flight of steps. 19 steps.
Will the number 19 appear in this story a lot, a little, or not at all.?

    6) Does Abra have her own version of Tony, that she speaks to.?

    7) Will we learn who put the bicycle in the road at the beginning of The Shinning.
and why they put it there.?

    8) At any point in his life, does Danny return to the ruins of Overlook ?

    9) Do the Grandfathers become involved with the hunt for Abra. ?

    10) these questions are just for fun!!!LOL

    Stephen,

was the inspiration for Abra's name borne from the word "Abracadabra"? As to "shine" is to be 'magical' in nature. (Also historically "Abracadabra" was believed to have healing powers when inscribed on an amulet.... thank you for that Wiki, my shweetheart!)

    Flakes.

    P.S [subliminal message ends.... here]
