That's true. He wouldn't have wanted that.

We remember you, Roger Ebert. We remember you well.

That screenplay was a thorn in his side- whenever he would destroy a movie in a review, someone would bring up 'Really? Yeah, well, you wrote 'Beyond Valley Of The Dolls' and it sucked!' He couldn't live that one down. His reviews were mostly spot-on, tho.

A very sincere and passionate movie lover. And all those interesting thoughts and ideas we've just lost. RIP.

He said something that changed my life. He said he didn't fear death. He couldn't remember what it was like before being born but he didn't think death would be that much different. Death had always been my biggest fear before that but that statement really relaxed me. It was liteally life changing.

    He'll be missed.

He gave it a good fight and I'll miss him.

In some way I'm ashamed to admit that I didn't know he couldn't eat or speak for the last several years. Bless his heart and Godspeed. And thumbs up man! You were the best of the best.

No shame in that, Brian. He didn't hide it, but it didn't slow him down much either. Not noticing is probably a pretty nice compliment, really.

If I could just face issues in my life with half the grace and aplomb he displayed over the last several years, I'd feel like I had it together.

I loved his movie reviews... and he didn't seem to take himself too seriously. RIP.
