    And here I thought I got lucky when I found a second printing ex-library Grant copy at a thrift store and paid $2.99 for it! Lord, I am glad I am still sitting down!! I just can't believe what an amazing find this is!!

    Thanks for the tip.. I have email Grant books and will see what they come back with. Will keep you posted. I have finally come back to earth after stumbling across this. Always good to share my excitement. Now I need to ensure I keep it safe over the years.

    Matrix, I'm glad you're keeping it. If I were you, I wouldn't let it go for anything under $4000, even given the lack of the dust jacket and slipcase.

    You could get an aftermarket slipcase from www.stephenkingcollector.com to keep it nice and safe.

    It's been a few weeks and I still haven't been able to get the complete story on this edition of the book (especially the #00). I have received some quote/offers so I am aware of it's worth, just not sure what the numbering is.
