Yesterday the board was "updated," which apparently means "broken" in vBulletin parlance. I don't know why this has broken yet since their own support forums are apparently broken. Hopefully, this will be resolved soon.

For the time being, here are the steps to try:
    1. Clear your cookies from stephenking.com
    2. Dump your cache
    3. Restart your browser
    4. Login with the "Remember Me" checkbox checked from any page other than the main forum page

I knew to do all of the above and for me it's still happening. I just go to Ms Mod's profile and then log in . . .it takes then.

Hopefully the log in problems are now resolved.

    Do this

    1. Clear your cookies from stephenking.com
    2. Dump your cache
    3. Restart your browser

    Then try logging in normally.

I didn't have to sign in this morning -- without doing any clearing or dumping -- so the problem seems to be rectified. For me at least.

Aside from my very first log-in after the board update, I haven't had any of the issues that other people were experiencing. (& I have no idea why? )

I have found that I'm logged in even when it looks like I'm not. I come to the log in page and put in my user name and password and hit enter. Then I get the same page again, looking like I haven't logged in. But, if I just click one of the links like "new posts," I find out that I am logged in. For me, it's not a log in problem, just the log is page behaving funkily. (new word)

This is the message I'm still getting when I try to log in. However, if I click New Posts, or one of the other links, I'm logged in
