    Or the bottle

Regular wine glass size for me, half-filled so I'm guessing maybe 5 or 6 oz. will give me the headache here but my daughter and I would have at least 2 glasses each with our meals, sometimes we shared a bigger bottle, but still no headache and no buzz. I think I drank more wine in the 2 weeks we were there than I have in the last 5 years combined and haven't had a drop since I got back!

We have some Asian restaurants around here called Pei Wei (They are a chain but I'm not sure if they are all over the country or not) and they have a great chai tea there.

I love lemon ice tea. But, try Jack (or your favorite bourbon) and ginger beer or a very spicy ginger ale. Cherry coke works well also.

Some say it's due to added sulfites, others disagree because sulfites occur naturally, still others say it has to do with the soil it's grown in.
Also wine comes in different strengths.

You mean wine you buy in the States gives you a headache and not the wine you got in Italy? That's pretty interesting. I've found that wine disagrees with me generally, at least red wines do (I so rarely drink whites that I haven't noticed one way or another), though I think more expensive ones are less disagreeable. Surprisingly scotch, even a cheaper one, and Irish whiskey (not mixed together, of course) seem to have less of a detrimental effect on me.

I believe I might have to do a personal investigation, first Scotland and Ireland (then mix Scotland and Ireland, wth), then Italy - oh, and let's not forget France!
