Oh yeah.....picked up 'Bag of Bones' on DVD at Wal-mart for 5 bucks. Watched it for the first time over the weekend and quite liked it.

Hey, Shasta, good for you!! You're going to LOVE this book! I remember the first time I saw my copy- I thought it was the most wonderful-exotic book I'd ever seen! It even smells exotic! One note of difference between the 1st and 2nd printings, besides the endpapers being in color in the 1st printing, there is also a picture of a black skull in a circle on the very last page that is NOT in the 2nd printing. Enjoy!

I got this yesterday. It's the unbound 2nd draft manuscript of The Wind Through the Keyhole.

    Cover page:

and page 15, which shows an editorial correction and comment (also in red):

That's cool! Could you imagine red-lining SK's work?

They know he depends on them to do that. In spite of the comments by many of his detractors who claim he needs an editor, he hasn't gotten so full of himself that he's not willing to take constructive criticism.

I got the black skull!! I got the black skull!

Soon, I will post happy pictures of me and my Gunslinger. I am so happy it came.

And it was delivered to someone else's house and they very kindly brought it to me. They had no idea what they had!!

I recommend David at Betts Books to ANY collector.
