Hi JOhn, I think in the UK they are still printing the Bachman Books as an omnibus edition (minus Rage) but in the US we don't have that option, you can only get the books individually (but not Rage, of course).

Thank you! It's a huge weight off my mind. Every time someone comes on here and says their entire collection was lost in a fire/flood/tornado of an ex I would get worried so I'm glad I finally did it!

(Btw, does anyone else feel like entire King collections seem to be destroyed at an abnormally high rate?)

Yeah, that's right. The old ones available on the 2nd hand market contain Rage -

But you can still get new printings of The Bachman Books featuring The Running Man, Roadwork, and The Long Walk -

I am quite surprised that the collective is not available in the US.

Well, maybe if we went on over to the Danielle Steel website and perused the threads there we might see that there have been losses to her readers book collections also? But, I get what you mean, there do seem to be a few members coming on here and stating that their collections were destroyed or given away by angry exes. You know the saying: everyone's a critic!

    My newest:

Vampires: Two Centuries of Great Vampire Stories with King's One for the Road:

This one is rather unique in that the proof contains King's story, but the finished book does not. I don't know the story behind it.

That is very interesting! I wonder what the reason was, too. I have that book in paperback and there are alot of great stories within its covers.
