    Oblong books (Oblongbooks.com) is preordering signed copies of Kelly Braffet's new book as well. I'm going to order it and then I'll have signed copies from the entire King family who write!

    Just picked up a first edition (1987 Viking hardcover) of Misery at the Salvation Army for a cool $1

    Yeah, I kick myself every time I go, because I usually find something good and I never check them as often as I should.

    Still doesn't beat the flea markets though. I found a hardcover first edition/first printing of The Bachman Books at a flea market while on vacation in Florida last year. Paid $5 for it. I felt bad, but the guy knew it was a first print and said that's all he wanted.

    Now THAT'S a good deal. Just picked up a second hardcover of The Stand for the office. Also found a strange hardcover of the same book, but it's printed on thin paper (like in a bible) and it's small enough to be a softcover. Weird.
