    Hi everyone !

Though it's not an item, I've recently had Pennywise tattoed in my left arm.
You all know the original picture because it's actually the cover of the soon-coming special edition from cemetery dance (and if you wanna have a look, I posted it on an album on my page).
This isn't the first tattoo inspired by Stephen King that I get, another one being a drawing by Jae Lee I just fell in love with while reading the DT comics.
And well, some of you may find it a bit extreme but the thing is I'm really attracted in tattoos and I think it's important, when you choose to get one, that it is something you have thought about / that represents you well / that you belong to.
Thinking about it, the answer was quite clear : it had to be linked with SK universe. I just had to wait until I found the right pics. :-)

Almost passed out at this opportunity, still can`t believe it..

Then, as I was walking back home, I stopped by some used book store and found an original first edition of Thinner, published in 1984, hard-cover, with the picture of " Richard Bachman "...in near mint condition, read maybe only once.
NO mention of SK anywhere...for the astonishing price of just five bucks.
Never even seen a "real" Bachman book where there is no mention of SK and now I know what RB looked liked before he died of cancer.

Man, did these purchases ever made my day...

Wow, just noticed...payed EXACTLY 19 bucks total for the books...spooky....
It's all Ka!! I remember King saying once that the guy pictured as Bachman was his then agent Kirby McCauley's insurance guy. Sweet finds, my friend!

I picked up Full Dark No Stars from Borders going out of business...I wanted to grab the illustrated version of Wizard and Glass (it's the only illustrated one I DON'T have) but they didn't have it...

Alexandra: A friend of mine has a tattoo sleeve of Stephen King related items. I know he has Cujo and Christine, but can't remember the others.

I'm not a fan of tattoos, but suppose that if I ever did want to get some ink it would King related.

Since I have recently decided to only buy King's novels in the American hardcover edition, I decided to check Barnes & Noble and see which novels they had in store. Well, apart from the few ones I already own, the ones they did have in store were Everything's Eventual, From a Buick 8, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon and Dark Tower 6: Song of Susannah. I've only read the last one, so the other three are titles I'm very much interested in.

I just picked up this old 1983-84 Cinefantastique magazine for $4. You can't see it too well in this pic, but on the sidebar it says "Stephen King on 'Cujo', 'Christine' and 'The Dead Zone'" Can't wait to read it!

About 5 years ago I had some financial problems and lost my SK collection. I recently came into some money due to being hit by a car. The great thing is that I have been able to buy the SK books, including the Dark Tower series. I can't tell you how happy this makes me! With winter coming I have a nice collection of reading material. Thank you Stephen King for wonderful stories!!!

Manxkitti: So sorry to hear you were hit by a car! How awful. But that's great you're getting something good out of it. Here's to a fantastic winter of reading!

Nothing better than curling up with a good book in those long winter months, eh? Sorry about your accident, but there truly was a silver lining, right?
