I loved this movie i haven't read it yet but plan too as soon as i am finished with The Stand!! Hey did anyone happen to notice who he was painting in the very beginning??
I just freaked out when i saw he was painting the Gunslinger !!!! |

I didn't get it, for the very good reason that I hadn't read any of the DT books before seeing the film. My immediate thought was 'Clint Eastwood, but not'.
What that painting did do, though, was make Roland easier to imagine when I did get round to reading The Gunslinger. |
