Synopsis:
The story of misfit high-school girl, Carrie White (played by Sissy Spacek), who gradually discovers that she has telekinetic powers. carrie is my fav book and film read it twice and lost count on how many times ive watched the film they came out before i was born

I thought the movie was better than the book itself. Sometimes movies are either better or not as good depending on what is omitted from a book so that a movie would actually be better. (The screenplay)

Carrie is an endearing character. I loved her comment, "Jesus loves everyone, Momma even me." She never looked for the gift; that was interesting. Was she 'washed in the blood?' and then baptized in the bathtub? Hmmmm.
