I find the present tense to this story refreshing and gives me a different feeling for horror.

Cycle of the Werewolf should be published as an unabridged audio book.

This novel was my first SK experience, Mother said if my imagination didn't scare me and/or Stephen, I could read more. Glad I didn't wake screaming....

I really enjoyed this book, I loved how he written it in a way how everything eventually combines and comes together in the end. The Month system is very clever with the concluding death at the end of each. The Visuals are brilliant and the story is stylishly narrated. Even though this story lacks some of Stephen King's intense horror and thrills it is still very good for a short story horror.

I just recently re-read this book and I realized i really like it a lot. I love the way that in each chapter ( or "month") there is another death until the climax. I really loved the insanity of the women in February and what happens with her. The way that the werewolf's identity is revealed couldn't be more clever... and to think Stephen King wrote this in just 2 hours? Amazing. The illustrations are also among some of the best in literature today. I recommend this book to anyone who wants an interesting, yet short, read.

As a young child this was one of my fav books. The illustrations are top notch and really seemed to bring the story to life.

I was very displeased with this book. I think this was a miss for Mr. King, but it just makes his more brilliant stories more brilliant.

The illustrations in this peice are AWESOME! I have a petpeeve with most of the werewolves sprouting up in newer books and movies; They are portrayed as fleshy hunks of plastic or CG mistakes that make you say, 'Yeah, right.' {Berni Wrightson's Art != Said new stuff.} The werewolf in this tale is a real Wolf Man = Monster, and the unique style of narration used (A taste of each month) is not only creative but inducive to a favorible and uniform story. GREAT artwork!
