This was not the most exciting book and it was a little confusing at times, but it was the start to my favorite series of books I have ever read. In my opinion the Dark Tower series is the pinnacle of Stephen King's career. I love all Stephen King novels.

I have to say I had to make myself read all the way through this book, but boy am I glad I did. Even though this one didn't consume me, it was the gateway to the best book series I have and will ever read. Yes, I am a Dark Tower junkie!

I started my adventure with The Dark Tower when I read a story about Roland (not in DT series) and that story interested me so I decided that i have to read all DW series :)

This was the book that got me into reading Mr.King's works. Normally a book that would take me a few days to read with school only took me one day, I could not put it down. A great read, I would recommend it to everyone.
