I have read so many of Stephen King's books over the years, I have enjoyed each one in it's own way. Duma Key was definately one of my favorites. I was caught up in it and couldn't put it down. I was kind of heartbroken that it was finished.

This is the first Stephen King Book i have ever read! AND I MUST SAY I AM OBBSESSED WITH HIS NOVELS!!!!!!!!!! I read it back in October and finished it in a little less than 2 weeks! I am now reading Under the Dome and plan to finish it the weekend, and then read IT! Sounds very good! :) :) :)

I read this before i read Under the Dome and loved it! I saw Under the Dome in my magazine Entertainment Weekly, and wanted it immediately. SO my sister gave me this one to read a Stephen King book for once, and now i am hooked on his books!!!!!!!!!!

This book, "Duma Key", is so well thought out and imaginative. It is very different than your everyday run of the mill horror shit. Steven King weaves the story like a madman. This book actually came from a short story...called "Memory". The daughter Melindas name was changed though..which did bring me out of it for a certain portion of the actual book because I did read the short story first and wondered why he changed it. Also in the short story instead of "Wireman always says"...its "Kamen always says", that also took me out for a sec too...overall though this is a great book, I couldnt put it down. ending could have been better but i get it...it doesnt need to be...well done mister king....this could really be a movie you should talk to somebody about this

Well, i love the story.. it make me laught, cry and scared. and u never will know how the story gonna end... until u read it... but all these nights i have wondered, how edgar can support all that loneliness... Even the loneliness of not painting anymore... i have wondered...What did eddie after painting the storm?
