I've read most of King's books, and this is my favourite by a country mile. The characterisation is excellent, and you really get involved in the story. King has been one of my favourite authors since my mid-teens!

I apologize that I wrote this comment previously on the page featuring "Cell" on accident. In that comment I stated that, as an avid reader of your work, I believe creating a film of "Rose Madder" would be an excellent idea. Even for people who have never read the book, it would be a spellbinding and thrilling experience. I know you receive millions of these, and possibly don't even read them, but just consider it if you do. -Kelsi Bri

I absolutely loved this book. It was the first Stephen King book I had ever picked up. I was only thirteen when my mother bought it for herself at a local bookstore and decided we could read it together. He has, since then, become my favorite author. I can hardly go to any book store without stopping to see what Stephen King titles are there. I now search thrift stores just to find as many of his titles as I can.

This should def be made into a film .I would love to see who would be cast as Norman, what an evil ,despicable man.
