The conclusion to Hearts in Atlantis brings Bobby Garfield back to the house on Broad Street where he first met Ted Brautigan. It's been a hard life for Bobby since he left nearly 40 years before. The mystery is how circumstances conspired to bring him back to meet someone he thought he would never see again.
