In 1960, I would have been 14 years old, just the right age to get into all kinds of trouble and to wreak havoc on the world, especially in the area of southern Connecticut. I would have raised hell with these low men in yellow coats. They would not have been able to get rid of me fast enough.

The story held very close links to 'The Dark Tower', just as most of King's work does, yet 'Low men in yellow-coats' held very intriguing links, the appearance of Ted Brautigan and the Low men being just a few... I'm a very devoted fan, ever since the age of eleven when i first picked up a copy of 'Firestarter' ... keep up with the transcendent work Sai King

Great King novella to read, especially if you have read the dark tower series. There are many aspects of both works that transcend each other, such as Ted, Bobby, and the Low Men. Not only are the similarities alone worth the read, the story kept me enthralled, even if it was shorter than most.

I've been enjoying this story for a while now. Like Ted said good books don't give up their secrets right away this good short story has many levels to it that keeps you coming back. I've never seen the movie and I am holding off on it cause I don't want to disturb the setting of Harwich I've imagined in my head. This story keeps giving though, and it gets better and more intriguing with each read.
