I have been a fan for a very long time. @ one time I had all of your books, but have had some ripped off. Which sucks!!! How can I get "UR" for my Nook?

Everyone.......You can download many FREE apps to read this on and read this on many devices. I'm just learning all this myself. These days there are always a way. Don't give up so easy. The more ways SK can get his books to us LCR the better as far as I'm concerned.

I would never ever, well, I guess I could and am going to critique a Stephen King Work. I have been a Loyal Constant Reader from the beggining. UR has, to me, proved Mr. King still has IT. Bravo Sir. I was, and this hurts to say, beggining to think that you had nothing left. Man was I wrong. UR was a fabulous, quick ride. I read it in a few hours, and it totally removed any doubt I had that you had burned out. Again... Bravo

Seems most of the chatter has died down, but for those who don't know, you can download the Kindle reading app for just about anything. iPhone, Windows phone, BlackBerry, Android, PC, Mac, iPad. I just downloaded it for my iPad and am now happily reading UR.

For those without Kindle my Android phone has a Kindle app. It is available free and I downloaded Ur for $3.19! I would bet their is an app for Iphones as well. Hope this helps!

Ebook may be good for storing all your books, but old fashion book reading is still the best. Plus great decoration for one or more walls. Can't be erase or die.

Seriously guys, cool off. Stephen King is awesome, and it's great of him to do anything like this. Quit yelling at the man. I enjoy all of his stories, but am also willing to wait for a different format. There is no reason to make this irk you so. Thank you for making this available! Sadly, I already own all your books, so will only get my favorites when I buy an ebook reader.

LOVE YOU STEPHEN KING! i would read your grocery list! lol

Come on, now, why would you want to limit yourself to just those who have kindle???? Let all of us enjoy the great works of stephen king. as for all the short stories floating around out there in various publications, why not give us a book or two with all of those in them as well??? stephen, you have created the "monsters" who love to read your stuff, now feed us.

I was given a Sony ebook reader as a gift... I am not able to get the UR download for it... Don't really want to listen to it on an audio book... REALLY want it in a basic PDF form for my Sony reader... Any thoughts...

Will it ever be available in print? I prefer to hold a book and physically turn the pages. Keep the stories coming...Love them all.

This makes me sad. Hopefully he kept the rights and can put it in the next book of short stories.

Being a fan of Mr. King for more years than I can remember, I am dissapointed that this novella has not yet appeared in print.

You know what pisses me of about this: This item is not available in your geographic location! As if when you live outside of the US you don't matter. This is also not the first instance of this happening. NOT COOL mister King. One p'd of constant reader.

I think at some point this story will be for all of us to read just not right now. I have an e reader by sony so I'm not going out to buy the kindle but I I'm surprised Stephen King would do something like this. I'm sure it must have been a great deal for him to do this to his non kindle fans.

I like them.

I am disappointed that I am not able to read this. I am in the same boat as most and I can not afford to just run out and get a device that is over three hundred dollars just to read a story. Since when do we have high end books? I guess it is unimportant that all fans are not able to obtain this story. Yes I will take a little cheese with my whine.
Posted By: Mark - May 12th, 2009 9:05:04 am EDT
yeah the device is pricey, love everything written by Stephen King, it's really too bad that this one fan won't be able to read UR, given the state of my economic situation, $359. for a reading device is out of my non-existant budget.
Posted By: CarrieB - March 17th, 2009 1:49:52 pm EDT
I'm not pleased that I'll have to purchase a $359 device in order to read Stephen King's latest story. Since I *won't* be making that purchase, I guess I don't get to read the story. Kinda stinks.
