The characters are superbly developed...the middle-class, middle America couple who have been married for so long, they finish each others words. So average, everyone will recognize them. The story so eerie because it could happen to any of us middle class, middle America folk....and probably happens more than we know.....

I loved this story and all stories in Full Dark No Stars! After 23 years of marriage I must say that I loved the way this story ended! =) I would like to invite you, Mr. King, to Wichita for a book signing. We've been serial killer free since 2005.

This is definitely my favorite King (shorter) story. Very well written, and quite believable.

Awesome story, excellent. Leaves me wondering, how many garages in the U.S. has this sort of nasty secret?

Being from the Wichita area, I recognized right away who BD was based off of. I wondered when they caught BTK how his wife and children must've felt, but never thought that they knew--how could anyone live with someone who had done those horrendous things?! Very interesting view point for a story, it really put you in Darcy's shoes and made you wonder--what would you do? As with all ethical situations, what you should do and what you would do are usually entirely different things. I couldn't put it down! Once again King's understanding of human nature is what really propels the story (and the others)--as he said, ordinary people in extraordinary events. Great story and great book!
