The Mist is based on Stephen’s short story from the Skeleton Crew collection. The Mist grips the reader with the tale of an ominous mist that descends upon Bridgton, Maine. The citizens of the small town soon realize “there’s something in the mist!” and seek refuge in the local grocery store.
As the mist’s otherworldly creatures claim their victims one-by-one, the citizens of Bridgton are pushed to the breaking point. Ultimately, the townspeople are forced to make impossible decisions as they confront the madness within each other and the monsters lurking within the mist.
