Wanted to register after reading a lot of posts on here.
Weird how you can feel at home with people you know?

I live in Wales in UK but am from England.

Currently reading Dr Sleep (halfway through) but have enjoyed King for many years.

Look forward to getting to know you all

A hearty welcome to a fellow Brit. You'll be safe enough here, the natives are friendly.

Taking it easy. Couple small jobs (carpentry, I'm self-employed) I could do but nothing pressing. Read some. Still need to clean up the shop, organize the mess. I've tossed bags of old files...from 1989 on, as well as other junk I've kept and find no reason to hold anymore. We've 30+" of snow on the ground so I'll look out from time to time and see if I can detect any melting. We don't want it to go all at once...flooding danger then. Could start my garden inside soon, tomatoes and cucumbers, although in the past I've usually purchased additional from area greenhouses...must not have enough southern exposure for the plants inside though I try. What's next after Doctor Sleep? :)

I'm thinking joyland I read the first few pages a while back. I've read most of the mainstream ones it, stand, Carrie, needful things, misery, nightmares and dreams capes, tommyknockers, dream catcher and of course seen all films. I started black house before and started the first dark tower but found it really heavy going.

I just finished 22.12.63 and thought it was up there with dead zone which is my personal favourite
Any suggestions?

I've enjoyed all of the stories each and every time I've read them. Have you read The Talisman? Desperation? Suggestions. Anything you have not read. If you read some of the posts here about the various stories you'll find that there are those who like one or another and in the same thread you'll find those who disliked the same story. Duma Key is a blast. Lisey's Story. Bag of Bones. The Dark Half. What is your take on those you have read? Check out some of the threads devoted to each, over in Novels...weigh in.
