Liked his edgy style back 10 years or more ago. Didn't care for the creepiness vibes he gave off when he had an attractive lady on the show. For the past decade, his often-acidic style ran thin for us. Funny turned to annoying.
Once every three weeks or so, on a Friday night, we catch Craig Ferguson. The first 20 times I saw him, I never failed to get at least one good hearty laugh. And while I still think some comic genius still radiates, it's not as often or as bright, and maybe it's me getting used to his shtick.
However, I think that, contractually, Craig Ferguson has first right of refusal to be the Letterman replacement.
