So I did call and guess what? Someone will be here tomorrow around 8 a.m. to put in the electricity. Plus two guys in a truck came over with a trailer and a load of gravel. Don't know why but they poured a big slab of concrete in October yet did not do the finishing edge so there was a 15 1/2 inch drop from the floor to the back lane. My neighbour piled a bunch of left over gravel on one side but half of the concrete still had an abrupt drop-off (if you can picture it?)
So once the electricity is installed then I guess the next thing will be to get the big double-size door and a remote so it can go up and down. He installed a back door facing the house and left a spot for a window but there is no window yet (???) What will they do? Just cut a hole and put the window in?
You feeling better?
I am, thank you! Have a lingering cough but the listless "I am just going to lay here til I die" crappy feeling is gone. Thanks for asking!
The contract is between hubby and contractor which my husband signed and then promptly went up North, leaving me in the dark (as usual!)Yes...they will cut a hole where an opening is framed and installed the window at that time. Too, an "apron" can be formed and poured where you drive in and out of the garage, anywhere from a foot to four feet more or less, to ease the transition from outer surface level to interior of garage. Usually...it's the law here...a contractor needs to tell the customer what will be done...helps to explain what not will be done, too.
Sort of chinook weather ...
So uh.. I'll be over in about, 3 weeks?I just threw in an ounce of chinooks into my next batch of homebrew...
