None that I know of, but she has managed to drop and break my two most extensieve ones within a month from each other onceand how many lenses HAS your wife melted???....
Looks like it's just the UV lens cover though, that's not that bad. When she dropped mine it tore of the body, breaking the ring where it attaches and popping off the AF/MF button
...delightful pictures Bob and I am amazed to discover that one of your daughters is a Praying Mantis...that is fascinating!....
I'm no photographer,

For some reason I expect a clown to pop out.View attachment 2141 ...from our City Reservoir....
Ouch. That does sound painful...It did get the lens as well as locked up the auto-turny-thingy (technical term) mechanisms inside. It was the kit lens that came with the camera, and it was nice, and losing it hurt. I had it perched on a ladder shelf, tethered to a strobe, and I tripped over the tether. Fall, crash, wail of horror (or cursing, take your pick). It hurt.

I actually like to take my 50mm prime out now and then. It's amazing how totally different your photo's turn out when you switch from regular zoom to what we like to call 'foot-zoom'I finished the photography that day, but the only other lens I had was a 70-300mm. I was shooting from the other side of the room just to be able to frame it. Awkward.
