These lists are nice should one need a list of stories to read...the list is a starting point where one can narrow the search. Where is that list of Stephen King's picks for stories for 2013? I performed a search but that didn't come up...had maybe three hits, none related...although maybe it was within one of those threads? I'll look again. :) Thank you.

And I'm 52 - which makes us both old, but gold.

Getting older and becoming increasingly disabled at the same time is a weird experience.

Getting older and becoming increasingly disabled & looking younger than I am (profile pic is me) feels like Ol' Mr. Higher Power has a sense of humour.:blues:

I think you are beautiful . . .Keep on Keeping, On!

Good to see ya 'round again . . .come by more often.

Only 11 for me but there are a couple I'm not sure about and there are also a few I started and didn't finish. Also, there are a few more that are unread and in my bookcase but I just haven't got to them. I've had 100 Years of Solitude for years and just have never got to it. I don't know how many times I've said, "I'm reading 100 Years of Solitude next and then I don't.

BBC Believes You Only Read 6 of These Books... - How many have you read?

I saw this on FB this morning and had to take a stab at it. I've read 74 of the 100--I have some catching up to do :) There were a few that I'd never heard of before, and some that are questionable as 'classics', but it was interesting!
I'm far behind. I had read 45. Though i would not call all of them classics. some of them i read long ago and have rather dim memories of so i guess they didn't leave a lasting impression.

I noticed that, too, Walter. And they have both The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, which is part of the Chronicles. Not the most well-thought out list.
Yes that was strange. I have read Hamlet but not every play of shakespeare so didn't count the complete works. And the bible? the picture named the 1611 edition. I have only read the swedish translation but i hope that counts.
