Thanks! Not my best work, but since I don't produce much, adequate is better than nothing.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then.

I'm pretty sure that I was the architect of destruction for a few keyboards. Only one of which I used a sledgehammer on. My neighbors were:

Who here has read Innocence? Everytime I go out to WalMart, that book stares at me from the shelves. Sometimes it even seems as if it may be calling my name, LOL. Just iffy on it. For goodness sakes please tell me it doesn't include a dog with powers???
Welcome to the T.O.R.A.D Club! That stands for Tired Of Reading About Dogs (in a Koontz Book). ;;D

That's the only thing I don't like about his books. Thank god he put a cat in the Odd Thomas books. Terrible Chester, the one who peed on his shoes.
Not exactly a cat lover but I'll take anything I can get. I like when he writes about that cat.

He lives in solitude beneath the city, an exile from society, which will destroy him if he is ever seen.
She dwells in seclusion, a fugitive from enemies who will do her harm if she is ever found.
But the bond between them runs deeper than the tragedies that have scarred their lives. Something more than chance—and nothing less than destiny—has brought them together in a world whose hour of reckoning is fast approaching.

The opening third was enjoyable, but for me it really lost all it's steam after that. It's the first Koontz I've read in a long time and I was disappointed. I read everything from Lightning to Dark Rivers of the Heart, but after that they just didn't do it for me. But that may just be me and not the author. Sometimes we outgrow certain writers.

I love Watchers and Lightning. Midnight is good too. Strangers. There's another one I very much enjoy, but so many of his titles are obscure. Anyone remember the book about Frank, and he goes to a married P.I team to help him figure out where he goes when he sleeps? Intensity, maybe?
