FlakeNoir, Do you know if Stephen King did the designs himself on the T-Shirts sold through Cafe-Press?Mark.And for good reason Mr. Cookie-thief!
I think I'll buy it in audio, Neesy. Mark.June 3rd??? woo hoo - for some reason I thought it would be the end of June - not paying attention - wow that is great - I'll be getting off work and heading directly to the book store that day
I doubt he would have designed them himself, but it's highly possible that he okayed them... Moderator? (It's not Glenn, is it? Or is it Brian?)FlakeNoir, Do you know if Stephen King did the designs himself on the T-Shirts sold through Cafe-Press?Mark.
The only one Steve had specific ideas for was the Shawshank Prison one which Brian then used for the design and Steve approved. Jordan had the idea for the Keep Calm one and the others are Brian's designs. Brian came up with the limited designs but we haven't had a new one for a while--have been too busy with other projects but are thinking of doing something to tie into the Mr. Mercedes release.FlakeNoir, Do you know if Stephen King did the designs himself on the T-Shirts sold through Cafe-Press?Mark.

I know it's been talked about in our planning meetings but will ask Brian next week how it's going for the actual design.A new set a merchandise for Mr.Mercedes would be awesome. Love the Tees as gifts.

What does it mean that the dissertation wasn't what your teacher expected? How does this now effect you in terms of school? When it's translated I think everyone here will want to read it!hey, guys!
i've been so busy and disappointed that my dissertation was not what my teacher expected it to be, that....that I sent that motherf@cker teacher to Derry on a stormy weather...hehe! Actually, my portrait of SK was good, but not appropriate for this teacher's high standards in journalism... feature journalism (the portraits or profiles) are not so fancy for journalism teachers, though readers enjoy them...
It was a pleasure for me to write SK's profile and the result satisfied me. the friends and family that read it told me it's a fine reading though they are not fans of SK. I found many videos of King's speeches and public interactions on youtube and it was great observing him and noticing his young and wild heart (hehe, this is such a cliche), but he is really amusing with dark humor, he still seems to be the tall kid bent over a book with no trace of vanity given his huge success...he shines
I hope I'll be able to translate the profile properly to english so that you can also read it...if you want to
Thank you again for your welcomes...this makes me feel a little closer to my favourite author.
Have a nice day!

...bad news and sensationalism have always driven the media-be it print, audio or video...all professors of media spout high and wonderful concepts, all the while looking for the next crossed eyed monkey humpin' mass killer....well...first, profiles are feature journalism (I study journalism) and feature journalism is not what teachers want from us, their students; they want us to investigate dirty businesses and write about that and blah blah...and second, it is not enough to make a good profile for my dissertation - the words of my teacher...
anyway, now I'll have to postpone the dissertation and change the subject, maybe something stupid that sounds sharp, suited for the university...teachers have some views about what journalism should be, authentic and fair views, but they can't satisfy that standards when practicing the profession and....why should they appreciate some honest, mere writing about something that doesn't involve conflicts, criminals and blood? frustrated, right?
