A while back I was shopping for some used books here in El Paso TX at a little place called Clark's Paperback Exchange. While looking threw his SK stuff the subject of Richard Bachman came up. According to this Clark guy SK wrote some books under a different name besides Bachman. I can't remember the name he said. Could this be true?

I remember a rumor that he used another name (other than Swithen), but heck if I can remember what it was. Some book about Exorcism, maybe? If so, it would have had to have been pre SK--his writing style is SO distinctive. Word choice, syntax, rhythms of dialogue, etc. He's hard to miss once you get familiar.

Unless it's just not ringing the right bells, that has got to be a rumor. It's definitely not anything that ever got published that I'm aware of.

jchanic or kingricefan might have mentioned it--I can't remember who was talking about it, but I think I read it here. Either way, you're the authority I respect :)
Yo! Respect this:

;-D This is the one that was rumored to be written by King. It was published back in 1974. I've read it and it's definately NOT king. Not even close. The author's name spell The Satan. ;;D
