Misery Chastain

I get the idea that the "Misery Chastain" series is a bad concept written by a good author. Kind of like when a brilliant actor has to pull off a bad role. So unless they managed to find a super good director to do it (which is too much to bet on), I doubt it would make a good TV show.

Still, I would be interested to read Stephen King's rendition of it.

Even more, I want to read "Fast Cars".

...I'm guessing the fictional character from romance novelist Paul Sheldon, and the novel of the same name-Misery...and "bad concept" because bodice rippers are just god-awful across the board-though King could write them with a twinkle in his eye...
