How are you?
Yeah, I can see and feel the collective sadness that Robin`s passing brought....
Strange how always someone`s death brings people together more than anything they have ever done while they were alive.
Famous or not, it`s seems to me that that is almost always the case.
The other day, an American Idol Alumni died, Michael Johns, he was contestant on Season 7, maybe somebody remembers him. Young, only 35, a stupid blood cloth killed him.
I don`t think I have seen anything about him anywhere for years in the media or on the net, social groups etc...but when he died...geez man, seemed to me like everybody loved him or was even his friend.
Tears on the grave-site mean nothing, appreciate the people you love while they are alive.
Tragic losses, though.
I wasn`t around for a while, wanted to be there for and with my daughter this summer more than usual ( if that is even possible ), school starts in less than a month, she is quickly growing up, from the baby-like little thing that was running around my legs, she very quickly became a little girl, a little human, a little more serious than she used to be with a lot more serious questions than before. Some of them I`m not too keen on answering, the parents here will know which ones and why that is no easy task. And they will also understand why, besides the tremendous happiness you feel that your kid is growing up healthy and becoming really smart, in the heart of the parent is also a certain kind of sadness. Yeah, you will know, I don`t have to write that down.
As for Sai King, of course the good, ole master of Love is always somewhere in my life, even though I wasn`t too keen about MM, as Chris Walken would say " Needs more cow-bell", but it was still an entertaining summer-read. Looking forward to all these movie adaptations of his work and of course, awaiting Revival.
As a family, we are OK...just like the rest of you here. Nothing super special, but nothing all too bad either, thank God, lately. All good, all healthy, broke and the usual, you all know and live the story.
A bit out of the loop what`s happening here, I was lurking from time to time, but didn`t go into much detail, I think you had a great time again at the KingKon this summer, judging by the pics in the thread. Good stuuf, the magic of the board still works.
So yeah, nothing spectacular, wanted to check in and hear how you are all doing, enough about me, tell me what`s going on in your life, if you wish to do so.
Know that even when I`m not here for periods of time, I am still here, for I always have to come back and check on the pieces from my heart and soul that I left with you and they are embedded in this board like in no other.
And one last salute to the great Robin Williams:
It`s not surprising that there was a beautiful meteor shower the other night.
It is the least the Heaven`s could do, when they are expecting somebody so extra-ordinary like Robin Williams was, to come and join them.
