When I was 13 or 14 this was my very first Book of him! Just marvelous and fascinating! Certainly with this Book I also was infected with the Dark Tower Virus! And the virus is still in me!

I think this was also my brother's first story from King...and...it is signed. Not by King, but by Ma, 3-30-87...signed w/love. She passed later that year, the 14th of October (and I'm 4 years older than she was when she left us)...this younger brother passed on the hottest day in June, the 30th...2002. He was 20 in '87. He actually got me started on King, said of It, here read this this is good, it's about a clown. Course I wasn't infected until I read The Gunslinger. :) What does your name mean, stoppoker?

You got my deep sorrow that you lost familymembers with so young years!

Stefan Stoppok is a german singer/songwriter, he's someone who call a spade a spade, just like Neil Young, Tom Petty and others in USA, and I don't wanna have a name like 'stoppokfan' because he made a song with content that there are also things where the thinking start to begin, for example : should I believe what in TV is said, what politicans said, and also what goes on in interpersonal relationships, what he wanna say with that, first thinking and second acting what you before think of, thats the right direction.

By the way his bassist is Reggie Worthy, Ex-bassist of Tina Turners Band.

...and he's got a pretty cool sound...

yes that's really a pretty cool song, and all by accident *smile* do you know what the text means?

Here are all albums of Stoppok, the texts are also included, so you can try to translate *GG*

My first sK was The Shining, which I chose due to having questions about the movie which I hoped the book would answer. I followed up with Misery because I'd always loved the movie. I'm not sure which came next but I think it was Bag of Bones, but of course by then I was addicted.

I haven't read this book in about 20 years. My uncle son worked in Eason's and would get me 5 Stephen king books at discount prices. My introduction to SK was Christine in about 86/87. addicted ever since. Always buy new book on first day
