No butting in without introduction here. Alright, never let it be said I'm without decorum. I've been a horror fan since the nights introduction to Fantastic Features by horror host Sivad on channel 13 Memphis warped me as a boy. I've warped my own children and am working on my grandchildren now. My daughter and I make a big deal of Halloween with visits to haunted houses and decoration and this year will do the zombie run in Tupelo (as zombies naturally). I've read King off and on, along with much else, over the years and am a member of various forums but never put the two together till reading the invite by him in the intro to "Everythings Eventual".

My nickname here is a synonym of my actual name meaning small cut and also a nick of the devil as in old ____. It also reminds me of the movie "Crossroads" which name in the Chickasaw language means the name of my hometown. Plus I'm evil incarnate.

Scratch that. I'm a nice guy (which is exactly what you would expect the devil to say). Are we well met yet?

Welcome Scratch

Wrong. My name is legion... er... right, afterall, my name is legion. Yes, there is an invite to this website. And on the decorum issue you have no idea how without.

My real name is not my nickname but it is.
We have a Legion at the end of our street - I'll take you there and buy you a beer! :very_drunk: (but just one - I'm walking)

I carved that one and am proud of how it turned out but no, not Pumpkin or Mark. You folks play along well. Surely you know by now my name is a word the Brits might use for steal.

You guessed it, my name is embezzle.
Look at my first post in this thread - (behind the spoiler) I win, I win! (what do I get? :jammin:)

You win my greater scrutiny from now on because I missed that. Not much of a prize I know. Not a lot you can do with scrutiny really.

How about I pay for the beer you buy me?
We'll have some deep fried scrutinies with extra dipping sauce on the side.

(Sorry - I am so tired here tonight I am getting a bit giddy).

BTW this is Sivad, the only vampire with a severly southern accent. He used to ride through a thick fog in Handy park and climb down off his horse drawn hearse to pull a casket from the back and introduce the show. When the casket opened and fog rolled out the show began.

I'm afraid you would have to bring a shovel to find a tattoo on him these days. He was beloved by many in Memphis, his appearences garnering larger crowds than the Beatles. I believe he was the marketing director for Malco theatres from the late 50's to mid 70's but he will always be known as Sivad to kids who grew up in that era. Svenghoulie is a poor imitation. There is a postumous facebook page for him- Sivad | Facebook - where a link will show you his entrance for the show. He will forever occupy a dark corner of my heart and a bright memory of childhood.

Oh wait... no apostrophe before Nick. You meant you like me not Sivad. And you meant the student had the tattoo by now. I misinterperted that all the way around. Ah well. What did you teach him? Voodoo maybe?
I don't think much I taught got past the earwax in his ears. He taught me the skill of mentally cursing out someone with a smile on my face. He almost drove me to wearing one of those funny looking jackets that fasten up the back.
You have the same kind of warped personality. WTG!

And I remind you of him? Hmmm. And you like me so you liked him despite the aggravation. You miss, are a little warped yourself. Perhaps you like funny jackets? Perhaps you like cursing? Perhaps you like earwax? Well... I assure you I can be taught with a liberal application of electricity in the correct locations. So there.

When new acquaintances find out I'm a special ed teacher, I usually hear, "Ohh! You must be a very special person to do that!" I say, " No, just certifiable!"
So, yeah, you're right, I'm warped!
