Just so you know i was practically acused of stealing today. A cokebottle!! Went in to a store to buy some juice and other necessities and had a 3/4 drunken bottle of coke with me. Bought somewhere else. I had just entered when this female gorgon came swooping down and almost screamed "What the hell are you thinking?" I tried to explain that i was thinking of shopping some food in her store. But no she continued screaming and practically accused me of stealing the bottle. She was extremely rude. Can't help thinking that that is not the way to approach someone using your store. Lots of interested onlookers. I just put the down the juicecartoon and the little packet of Salami i already gathered and went out of the store. You couldn't really talk to her and then what is the point in staying? So i bought what i needed in another store instead. My little adventure of the weekend.
What a gorgon!

Sorry about your bad experience. I like your plan - just don't even try arguing. My son's like that (and so am I)! I don't have time for fools who bore me.

Y'all, I can't even catch up with the Tet tonight. I've got a project - 16 hours of dictation to transcribe by Wednesday. I can't even have a glass of wine. I'm trying to get it all done by Tuesday so I can at least review it. Neesy I wish you were here to help me. December, December, December....
You can always have wine.
I don't know what you're having with it, or what you like, so here's a nice red and white. Take what you like. Or take both if it's been one of those kinds of days.

How Good Is Your Memory?

You have an incredible memory! Impressive! You remembered all of the photos! You most likely have what's called an "eidetic" memory. This means that you have a remarkable ability to recall images. You pay attention to detail, you notice the small things, and you have a gut intuition that kicks in when you've seen something more than once. You have a great analytic abilities and you're a natural born problem solver.

(Hmm)

Ditto.

Yeah, not so sure about that.

You have a good memory

You have a good memory! You remembered most of the images. You're attentive, caring and always see the big picture. You may miss and few details here and there, but you're always on top of it and few things are too challenging for you. We're quite impressed, what do you think? Let us know in the comments!

No clue who the pretty lady was...my favorite pic outta the lot. Too, I think I have that disease that makes you forget things, Anderson's Disease...that and the right-left problem. I'm hail on directions. I say turn right...best to hang a left with full confidence that all is well and all manner of things are well. Plus, I've had a thing in my left eye since yesterday morning...chuck of dirt or something...guess I ought to go to the doc's to get it out...tried a couple things, shot-glass of saline, cup it over the eye, tilt head back, get douched out by the flow...warm day yesterday so the shirt dried out okay but the thingy is still there...I think it's stuck on the back of my eyelid. Needle-nose pliers probably isn't the answer.

I didn't know who the actress was either, so took a guess. :biggrin2:

Re: the sore eye, it's possible you've already washed out the piece of grit, but maybe it has scratched either the eyeball or lid? It doesn't take much at all for it to become irritated and inflamed. Be careful of infection, Walt. Hope it feels better soon.

What Flake says. The cornea is very easily scratched, after which the scratch itself feels like something's in your eye. There's danger in assuming something is there and continually rubbing your eye to try to remove it, which you may very well have done. Something might still be in there, though, especially considering the type of work you do, and so if soon your eye doesn't start feeling better (the cornea heals as rapidly as easily it's damaged), then to see a doc would be wise.

I can see something I don't know what in the dark part of my eye...something that has been there since yesterday...hasn't moved. Be nice to get it out myself rather than go and have them ask me this happen at work, the dollar $ign$ lit up in their bright lights...found out when I did the finger that the insurance won't cover it it happens at work. sheesh! But this happened at home, anyway...doing homework...one of those Copper Country jumping chunks of grit...little thing hanging out by the garbage...could be a new life form maybe? like those no-see-um bugs...always going for the eyes. There's a couple clinics in town...maybe I'll give one of them a try-out...or I wonder if I tried to dab it out with a cotton swab? I've got these steel-lid eye-lids, how-some-ever...first time I wore contacts was a tribulation.
