Don't you just wish that we should be able to deduct from our bill a dollar a minute for each minute we have to wait in the waiting room for the doctor to see us? Nothing gets caught in my craw more than making an appt. to see the doc, the nurse calling me the day before to remind me of said appt., getting to the doc's office at least 10 minutes before said appt., only to have to wait at least 20 minutes after said appt. is scheduled to get in to see the doc. Irritates the crap outta me!
at least I finished the book

Yesterday I read a book called The Lion, The Lamb, The Hunted by Andrew E Kaufman. It was a $2 special for the kindle. The story line was interesting but not extremely well-written. But, at around 250 pages was a quick read.

Then I started The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Gaiman. Got over half way through. It is magical! I am really loving it and will finish it today.

Also about halfway through Outlander number 6, A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

I just started a book by Dr. David Perlmutter called the Grain Brain. The truth about wheat, carbs, and sugar. The books talks about the link between diabetes, heart attack and dementia based on what we eat. Mainly carbs! (I read about the book in one of the free nutrition magazines that I get from my health food store.) I am not too far into it, but it has held my attention. The kindle price was very reasonable at 3.29. Happy Reading to you!

The woods are lovely dark and deep
I started reading "Big Girl Panties" by Stephanie Evanovich but then had to return it to the library (it's a new release) - It was quite lightweight. Sort of like a bit of fluff or what you might call junk food type of writing so it was no great loss to take it back unfinished

Evanovich is good for in between heavy duty reading; kind of like, cleansing the palate.
