Please tell me those are the northern lights and not that thing CAT mentioned in post #2793.

Not the being voodooed part, but the pv thing...........
I am not sure what that is, but it's a nice picture of where Winnipeg sits in relation to other cities - look how far south Toronto is! (sometimes I think I should have stayed in Ontario - especially when it is minus 40 with a wind chill).

Well, NOW you will be! You just voodooed yourself, Neesy! =D

Oh, by the way, I saw a personalized license plate the other night with your name on it!
Really? Not mine - I have that Veteran plate one - cost me 5 bucks back in 2005 - I get free parking on Remembrance Day.

I just don't look quite the same as the Legion guys. It is funny, I do find that some people will pass to go around me and go faster which is weird, as I am not a slow driver - I think it's the plate.

(I would get a fedora but it would muss up my hair and I don't like 'hat head'.:blues:

From the good ol Midwest
Fl during the winter storm Astro: 50F/ 10C heading for high 70's by noon, slight chance of rain. Next two nights 40F/ 4C and 70F/21C with full sun.

Please be very careful if you are in the lands of snow and ice.
Spidey, We will be 60/46 today and 60/32 on Tues and just plain 32 by Thursday. Not too awful compared to most... May you all be safe, and warm.

Walked out this morning, got the paper. Shirtsleeves weather, and short shirtsleeves at that.

Got in the car and drove 50 miles north. Blizzarding, near white-out, white-knuckled driving. Got to the destination, grabbed the winter jacket and gloves and made my way out through the wintry blast, horizontal-driven snow smacking against my face, dress shoes crunching over ice.

The cold finally made it to my town too. We had a 41-degree drop in temperature over the course of the day.

Brrr. Don't mind it, unless it tricks me into believing it's not really here then catching me somewhat unaware. Like today.
