I think the story would make a great fairy tale like movie similar to the style of the new "Maleficent " movie or "Snow White and the Huntsman". I like the beautiful cinematography in those movies and that story is fun and adventurous for all ages. Can you imagine a "Disney" like Stephen King movie? I've read that book a million times in the last 20 years and its such a classic to me. I'd enjoy watching the story play out on the big screen.

My son read this book and loved it a few years ago when he was 12 or 13. Fantastic story for all ages. There are so many cruddy books that get made into movies for "kids," I guess people just see the Stephen King name on the cover and he gets pigeon-holed as inappropriate for children. This would make a great movie, maybe more than one if they split it up to do it justice. We can all dream, I suppose! :)

It was optioned at one time to do as an animated film but the producers weren't able to put it together and the option expired. With the advances in animation since that time, I think it would be an amazing film in that format.

- I have read it a lot too. I would like Stephen king to write a sequel to the eyes of the dragon and have them make a movie out of it.
